THE EGYPTIAN FASHION & DESIGN COUNCIL and MALL OF ARABIA in partnership with the BRITISH COUNCIL have proudly presented the first EGYPT FASHION AWARDS to culminate in the finalist’s fashion show and Award ceremony on February 27th, 2022 in front of a distinguished line up of judges and VIP guests .
The official EGYPT FASHION AWARDS is set to become the leading annual event dedicated to finding and nurturing talented. Winners were selected in 4 categories: YOUNG DESIGNERS (graduates & rtw designers up to 2 years in the business), EMERGING DESIGNERS (rtw designer between 2 and 8 years in the business, ACCESSORY DESIGNERS and JEWELRY DESIGNERS.
Titled "THE LONDON FASHION WEEK EXPERIENCE" the winners in all 4 categories could travel to London Fashion Week in September 2022, for a first-hand experience of showrooms & fashion shows.
The winners and finalists also received further benefits that included a pop up shop and retail opportunity at MOA, mentor-ship and more.

The high profile jury members was to be announced February 1st, 2022.
Application closd on January 31st , 2022. Finalists were to be announced on February 7th .
WHO COULD APPLY?
The EGYPT FASHION AWARDS was open to 4 categories:
YOUNG DESIGNERS
To apply you are a graduating student of 2019 or 2020 in the fashion, accessory or jewelry design sector or have been up to 2 years in the business.
EMERGING DESIGNERS
To apply, you must have produced commercially available apparel for a minimum of 2 years and a maximum of 8 years (at the time of submitting an application).
ACCESSORY DESIGNERS
To apply, you must have been producing commercially available accessories for a minimum of 2 years and a maximum of 8 years (at the time of submitting an application).
JEWELRY DESIGNERS
To apply, you must have been producing commercially available jewelry for a minimum of 2 years and a maximum of 8 years (at the time of submitting an application).
